Popular in borders, Gypsophila or BabyÕs breath produces clouds of dainty white flowers on thin green stems. Ideal as a cut flower to fill out bouquets and often used at weddings, babyÕs breath is ideal for beds borders and patio containers.

Sow Indoors: March - May
Flowers: June - August

Sow seeds into a tray of good quality compost and lightly cover. Place tray into a heated propagator or clear bag in a warm sunny position. Germination 18-21 days.
Once seedlings emerge, they can be transplanted into individual pots and should be kept warm. When the risk of frost has passed, harden plants off by placing outdoors during the day and bringing them back indoors at night. Repeat for 7 days. Transplant 60 cm apart where they are to grow on.

A mixture of Poppies in bright colours. A lovely addition to any bed, border or patio container. Also, ideal as cut flowers to bring a touch of summer indoors.

Sow Outdoors: March - June or September (for early flowers the following year)
Flowers: April - September

Direct Sow
Poppies prefer to be in well-drained soil and a sunny position. Sow seeds into fine, warm soil direct outdoors where they are to flower at a depth of 6mm. Always sow seeds after all risk of frost has passed and the ground is warm and moist. Germination 14-21 days.
Thin seedlings as they start to emerge to 23cm apart and remove competing weeds during growth. Sow seeds in September for early flowers the following year.
