Experience that 'fresh from the garden' taste with this cut and come again seed mixture, have a continuous crop of red and green lettuce leaves throughout the summer.
Ideal to grow in a small border or patio container.

Sow Indoors
Fill a tray with high quality compost and sow seeds thinly in 1cm drill 20 cm apart. Cover with a layer of fine compost and water lightly. Place in a warm light location and do not allow the compost to dry out. Germination can take 14 - 21 days. When the risk of frost has passed, harden plants off by placing them outdoors during the day and bringing them back indoors at night. Repeat this for 7 days. The plants can then be transplanted outdoors.
Water frequently to prevent the leaves going to seed. Harvest young leaves regularly to promote new growth.
